Trisha Brown Co-Director

Trisha is Co-Director of Great Lakes Biomimicry, and previously was the agency's Director of Professional Education, Corporate Innovation Council and Product Innovation Services. Trisha has worked in private sector finance, advertising, and real estate development and in the non-profit arena where she directed the Corporate Roundtable for the Corporate Sustainability Network. She also consulted with the City of Cleveland, recruiting corporate involvement in their ten-year sustainability initiative.

As a consultant to Transplant House of Cleveland, Trisha led the search for their inaugural facility to house transplant patients and their families. She has consulted on several projects advancing sustainability and smart design. Trisha founded Housing Futures, LLC, a company focused on sustainable, responsible, residential renovation.

Currently a board member of the 2100 Lakeside Men’s Shelter, a pillar of Lutheran Metropolitan Ministries, she has been involved in development of permanent housing for U.S. veterans, was a board member at River’s Edge, a spiritual and wellness center ministry of the Congregation of St. Joseph, and the planning commission of Rocky River.

Trisha holds her BA in Finance from Michigan State University, a Masters in Urban Planning from New York University, and a post-graduate certificate in Urban Design from Kent State University School of Architecture and Environmental Design. She is a LEED-AP and a Biomimicry 3.8 certified Biomimicry Specialist.
