Kate Faust Rockwood Equity Partners, Vice Chair

Kate Faust is currently a Partner of Business Development at Rockwood Equity Partners, a lower middle market private equity firm in Beachwood, where she is primarily focused on deal origination.  Before Rockwood, Kate was the first female Chief Financial Officer at Cleveland-based SIFCO Industries, a publicly traded forged components manufacturer for the aerospace and energy industries, and was there during the company’s 100-year anniversary. She also was Vice President of Corporate Strategic Planning and Manager of Finance at Argo-Tech Corporation in Euclid, a maker of aerospace engine and airframe fuel pumps and systems, before it was acquired by Eaton Corp. Kate started her career with Morningside Ventures doing early-stage venture investing in information technology and healthcare companies for a Hong Kong family.

Kate was co-chair of the American Heart Association’s Circle of Red/Men Go Red committee, has served on the Board of Directors of the Junior League of Santa Barbara, was on the Alumni Board at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, and oversees the Caroline Kramer Faust Foundation in memory of her daughter, which is dedicated to supporting nature, education and the arts.
